Weather In Delhi: From Wednesday, February 26, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts mild drizzle in several parts of Delhi. The rain may provide some respite from the continuous brilliant sunshine. According to the meteorological organization, a western disturbance is the cause of the change and might cause maximum temperatures to dip by up to 2 degrees. Delhiites have been coping with strong sunlight over the past few days; daytime temperatures have stayed above average.
On Saturday, the Safdarjung meteorological station noted a maximum temperature of 24.7 degrees Celsius, 0.8 degrees Celsius below usual. The temperature had soared 26.6 degrees Celsius the day before. The minimum temperature was 12.5 degrees Celsius, 0.7 degrees Celsius above average. All through the day, the sky stayed just partly clouded.
Delhi’s air quality is classified as “moderate.”
Delhi’s air quality falls into the “moderate” range for the fourth straight day, somewhat better than prior levels. The 24-hour average AQI on Saturday was 155, which improved above Wednesday’s 180, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Delhi’s AQI has varied over the past several days between 158 and 160; experts project that it will stay at the “moderate” level.

Delhi should expect different weather in the next week. Sunday will have a partly cloudy sky; Monday and Tuesday are probably clear. Cloud cover will resurface by Wednesday; Thursday can bring light rain. We also expect cloudy skies to persist on Friday and Saturday. This temperature change will provide some relief from the dry conditions and growing heat.
